Talking What's the dumbest thing you used to believe ?

But now know not to be true ?

As a child I used to believe that the hazard warning button in my dads car was a seat ejector button, when I was being bold he would threaten to push it !

Life is a journey, complete it.

God, then when I reached the age of 8 and was forced to go to Sunday school, I realised what nonsense these people told me.

    My opinion only of course.

As a devout Christian I find that offensive and the language explicit.
It's just my opinion but to refer to someones religious beliefs as "crap" is utterly offensive and saying "just my opinion does not excuse anything"
People could be racist, sexist, ageist and say "just my opinion" not good enough.
A bit of consistency around here would be nice and not all onew way traffic in favour of the chosen few.

can I have a list please?
eager to know if I am on it.

and on a serious note, we have people calling each others dicks, cunts, twats etc, but we cannot say that we were thought in school was loads of crap?
    I am confused.

Maybe I shall open another thread "what do you consider offensive?" and have a discussion on this going....

Dirt Bird devout Christian? Is he serious? Is he just jerking us off?
He thinks there is a wee man in the sky making everything work?
To quote Woody Allen, does he think there is a wee man in the television [note I said television not TV, to aoid confusion] making it work?

I used to believe that politics mattered and the parties were for the people that they were supposed to speak for.

Being a devout Christian, does it not say that sex outside of marriage is a sin?
Some people have to have the last word,
but they don't actually want you to stop talking,
as they like the sound of their own voices too much.
