Yeah, I was thinking of scam as well, initially. But to hide a broken toe is kinda hard... suppose depends how much you get paid. But, would they throw the match to maximise the purse. Cancel the main event, but throw in a prior bout (Cerrone).. to whet the appetite. Then develop a big build up the the real fight??

Dunno.. but then, it worked well the last McGregor fight...
