I know there is a thread about fake forum profiles, but I thought id post a new thread about false escort profiles as they intrigue me somewhat. Why do they still exist?

Do people really attempt to meet these obviously fake escorts? Do fake photos not stand out a mile? Some profiles use photos of famous porn stars!! How do people engage with these profiles? As if Ava Addams has given herself an escort name and is now working in Ringsend in Dublin for €70 for 30mins! Does the phrase "Unfortunately XXX prefers her service to be a private affair and does not want reviews" not make people run a mile?

Is there anyone on here with stories of actually engaging with these fake profiles? What happened when they did?

Im under the impression it continually costs money to maintain these profiles, so that must mean the profiles must work in fooling some folk or else they would no longer exist. True? So if folk are being fooled what the hell happens when they turn up and are "shocked" that the famous porn star they thought they were getting a bargain for spending some time with is not actually there?

I don't watch much porn so not likely to recognize a familiar face. But experience on the forum should teach one to be able to spot the majority of the fakes. Maybe a lot of punters are only occasional visitors to the site and are not able to discern these fakes.
