Well, due to the nature of the business escorts are right not to say where they are from, as well they won't tell their real name.

Irish is a mandatory language in school in present and yet most Irish don't speak it.

You are making a point again about the predominance of English.
As well as Irish and English, a third language has to be studied in second level, usually French, but lesser numbers take Spanish, German, Italian or whatever.
And guess what, after 5 years study, Irish students speak such languages as badly or worse than Irish.
Irish and British live on Islands as do Aussies and Kiwis.
Americans and Canadians live on their big continental '' island''.
And when these English speakers travel, increasingly other people speak English as a second language.

I had the idea already you were expressing some preference for big Irishmen.

It is taught (or at least was when I was there) via writing letters and also by ramming text book theory of its intricacies down your throat.

It should be spoken in class by means of conversation ,and not by reading pre determined stories, poems etc.

I hated it until I got to know an irish teacher who is from an Irish speaking part of the west.............and I grew to admire both the language and those who still use it as their first language.

Still know more French after 2 years of learning it though than I do Irish after about 12 years! (Proves they teach it the wrong way...my teacher friend is right)
