You look in the free ads paper for a plumber — see AAA Joe Blogs pluming and call him up — he arrives and makes a total bollox of the job after charging you a fortune — do you blame the free ads paper for advertising him? They did not recommend him! As the old saying goes, paper never refused ink — especially where money is involved!
Well, that is slightly different from false advertising — that is the same as a young fit size 8 19 year old on the profile and you turn up to find a 50 year old size 20 opening the door — what do you do? — walk away! You don't agree to purchase her services!
A recruitment agency is not an advertising agency. Any reputable recruitment agency will interview and vet those who they "recommend" As you normally pay the agency and not the individual they are responsible for who they send to you. You don't pay E-I to see the ladies.
Apologist.
Nuff said.
