He didn't! He inherited $200 million from his father, and he would be worth more now if he had simply invested it in the stock market.

He's clearly not stupid though - just one of the most vain and self-interested people on the planet. If he were to get elected, he would easly be the most dangerous president ever.

Yes, he would be a very dangerous president. Primary elections are tomorrow in New York. While Trump should most easily win New York, the question remains if he has enough momentum to keep him going to the Republican Convention. For the sake of the international community, it would be scary to think how Trump would interact with the likes of world leaders such as Putin.
