PP have Jon Rahm as the 8/1 favourite with Shane Lowry the top Irish golfer at 16/1. Matt Wallace at 16/1 might be worth a flutter.

Backed the winner in this last year tony with Russell Knox and was thinking of him again this week but instead I will go for Joost Luiten 40/1 in Irish open and I’m going Charley Hoffman 80/1 in the USA ... 2x€5 ew and €5ew double

He is 12/1 if you fancy him to win.

Probably not but he played his best round of golf for a long time today especially considering he broke his wrist not that long ago.. A lot of big names within a few shots of the lead. Jon Rahm is my tip to win the tournament.

Rock walked away with the first place prize money back in 2009 when Shane Lowry was still an amateur. 10 years on he is in an excellent position to do it the orthodox way. His score of 60 today must be one of the lowest ever rounds in the Irish Open.
