Rahm now has a two shot lead with one hole of his round to play. will he hold on or will one of the chasing contenders overtake him?

Rahm finishes his round at -16 and has a three shot lead over the chasers. Surely he will be lifting the trophy later this afternoon.

Rahm wins his second Irish Open in 3 years and has a great boost to his confidence (and his bank balance) with the British Open less than a fortnight away. Cormac Sharvin is the highest placed Irish golfer on -9. Not too many would have predicted that before the start of the championship.

The Scottish Open this week Rory Mcllroy is fav at 6/1 . I can't look past Matt Kuchar . I have 20 e.w on Matt Kuchar at 18/1 and 10 e.w on Victor Hovland at 18/1 for the John Deere .

Hoveland definitely catches the eye and will also go with him, I’m going for value in Scottish open and have Paul Waring at 80/1 with bet victor . Played well in Lahinch last week and links golf suits his play . Best of luck with your bets .

True but you know that on his day like Johnson and Koepka they could turn it on . I find with majors they usually are there or thereabouts but in so called smaller tournaments they offer no value. Gone with Leishman this week at 66/1 BV and will do a few ew at bigger prices .
