Rory messes up a simple par putt on 11th to go back to 3 under
    Disappointing

A good finish to the 3rd round for Lowry today. He is at -5 and is currently 6 shots off the lead. He is probably too far behind to be in with a realistic chance of holding on to the Claret Jug but a good round tomorrow should give him a high placed finish in the Championship. McIlroy is at -1 and a poor round for Harrington today leaves him at +3.

At the end of the 3rd round Oosthuizen has a 1 shot lead over Morikawa at -12. Spieth is at -9. Will the Open Champion be one of those 3 or will someone further back in the chasing pack make a late surge tomorrow?

Could be a straight matchup between oosthuizen & morikawa, depends on weather, wind direction for me

I would like see louis win today , Jordan Spieth struggle on back 9 last two days. The player to come out the chasing pack could be Scottie Scheffler. Collin Morikawa had great iron accuracy. I will be definitely shouting for Louis today.

Brooksey 5 under for the day with 2 holes left. Great run but a little to late

McIlroy finished a lacklustre Championship for him at level par and is in a tie for 46th place. This is now 7 years in a row without a Major win for him. Will he ever win another one? Harrington had another mediocre round and finishes at +4.

Morikawa is now at -13 and has a 3 shot lead after 8 holes. Will anyone catch him now? Spieth has birdied the 9th and is level with Oosthuizen at -10.

Lowry finished the Open at -6 and is currently tied for 12th place. A decent placing which boosts his chances of a European Ryder Cup place in September. Next destination for him and McIlroy is the Olympic golf tournament in Tokyo.
