Rory McIlroy 10 points to win at 8/1 with Sportnation.bet I just cannot ignore him 11 top 10s this year with two wins been playing his best golf in years. He has been targeting this tournament ever since it was announced Royal Portrush was announced. Will have incredible support and if he was to win it would be his greatest ever. I for one will be cheering him on all the way.
Henrik Stenson 3 points each way at 33/1 with Sportnation.bet The 2016 Open Champion had been having a slow season but now has three top 10s and could be coming in to form at the perfect time.
Matthew Fitzpatrick 2 points each way at 50/1 with Sportnation.bet The Englishman has good pedigree on links courses has had two runner-up finishes this year. The introduction of Billy Foster on his bag could be the key to unlocking a Major for the five time European Tour winner.
Tyrrell Hatton 2 points each way at 66/1 with Sportnation.bet I just cannot ignore the Englishman such is his results on links courses two Dunhill Links Championship wins, and top 5s in the Irish and Scottish Opens and at the 2016 Open Championship.
Bernd Wiesberger 1 point each way at 80/1 with Sportnation.bet The Austrian has turned a corner with three top 10s including a win in his last five tournaments. I am writing this on Friday night where he has just shot 61 to lead the Scottish Open.
Jazz Janewattananond 1 point each way at 200/1 with Sportnation.bet This guy is a seriously good golfer and these odds are far too long for him. He has a huge lead on the Asian Order Of Merit has had 10 top 10s including two wins and sits just outside the worlds top 50. As outsiders go he is a decent shout at this price!

While it would be some story if McIlroy or McDowell were to win the Open, the likelihood is that Brooks Koepka and Dustin Johnson will again be in contention to lift the Claret Jug.
Jon Rahm might be worth backing though his temperament under pressure in a major is suspect. A dark horse might be Matt Wallace at 40/1. Anyway whoever wins it will hopefully be a championship to remember.
The Truth is out there.
I see lots people think Henrik Stenson will have a good week.
