I am going against McIlroy this week so more than likely he will win 🙄 so had 10ew on R Knox instead. Rahm reigning champ and could well do it again but 7/1 against such a big field bad value for me .

He's now 4/1 Lee Westwood had good round. Poor day for Jon Rahm. I am go to put 10 e.w on Dylan Frittelli at 25/1.

Great round for Harrington yesterday, hopefully he will continue that form today. Also Lee Westwood rolled back the years after a fine opening round. McIlroy is well in contention also but Jon Rahm will have to shoot a very low round today if he is to have a realistic chance of defending his title.

Harrington missed out by one shot, very disappointing after his fine first round. Some of the lesser known golfers in a tie for the top at the halfway point but a long way to go yet.
Jon Rahm made the cut as did McIlroy, Shane Lowry and Graeme McDowell.

Looks like he has a great chance now unless he has a disastrous last round tomorrow. I have to say I had never heard of this golfer before this week and as far as I know he has never won a tournament of note up to now.

Yes it was a poor 1st day. I get the e.w on him.

Indeed and he did it twice in a row on the 18th green as well. Knox narrowly missed out on an Irish Open win in 2016 and was left out of the Ryder Cup team that year as well. Surely he will be in the team this time around in September.

The Open Championship starts at Carnoustie on Thursday. This is the first time the championship is being held on this course since Padraig Harrington won his first major there in 2007. There are up to 20 golfers who could win but I will go for Justin Rose to lift the Claret Jug.
