I mentioned nationality only in the context of language and I do believe that communication is important. Also if someones English is not good and I speak their language am I not allowed to speak to them in their language.
I do expect Spanish people to speak spanish the french to speak french and I would imagine that Germans 'Deutsch sprechen.'
If someone is telling lies about their nationality or anything I am going to question their integrity and ask why. This is not unfounded curiosity but it is good business practice. A separate and yet altogether more important issue is the fact that persons for some parts of the world are more at risk of trafficking and abuse than others. I do not care where the girls are from as much as I care about being able to communicate with them and knowing they doing what they are doing of their own free will. So I disagree with you and firmly believe nationality is a factor. A factor I will continue taking it into account to make an informed decision and it does not make me xenophobic.
You obviously didn't properly read or understand my previous post.
You don't marry the escort if you chose to book her. It's an exchange of time spent for money and where is she from should be none of anybody's business.
Most foreign escorts lie about their nationality for their own safety or for the fear of discrimination, those factors are a lot more important than a single guy (as you clearly see you are in minority here) questioning their "integrity".
What is next, will you require to see their passports too

I agree that the nationality option should be optional or deleted altogether. If we want to say where we are from we can add it in our advert. It would be better to just have 'languages spoke' and 'first language' or something like that. Often it's more about wanting a bit of banter with some than caring about where someone is from anyway. The most important factor should be discretion and safety of the sex workers.

Without wanting to sound too condescending to the OP I don't think you really did your homework here before you decided to make contact with any of the ladies. If you had spent any time at all looking through this website, and in particular to threads which relate to nationality and other personal details then you would be well aware of the reasons why most women put down a different country of origin. Discretion and privacy are paramount in this profession. You have no entitlement to any personal details of any lady who allows you to see her. The only thing that I would agree with you with is the ladys' command of the English language but even then I would say to you that you should have looked at the reviews for the ladies. If they had little or no reviews that there is no way of knowing if her English is any good or not. Escorts with a good few positive reviews normally have reasonably good English, if they didn't it would be mentioned in the reviews.
I would also say that you shouldn't be too clever speaking the native language of the lady, that might frighten the bejesus out of them. Many escorts are not comfortable meeting clients from "The homeland".
Everytime there is a thread on this topic it reminds me of the episode of the Simpsons where Bart spends the whole year learning Spanish because the family are going to Brazil on holidays. Lisa decides to tell him on the plane that he has actually learnt the wrong language.
Stick to what you know and not what you think you know.
