Default Anglican Church apologises to LGBT but sanctions US Church for having gay minster

    Cassocks in a twist.

The Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby has apologised for "hurt and pain" caused by the Anglican Church to the LGBT community.

However, he said a US church was facing "consequences” over the ordination of openly gay Canon Gene Robinson.

In other words, we are sorry but we will just continue to cause you "hurt and pain”.
    Bit of a mixed message.

I wish there is a land or country in this world where only LGBT people have the rights to reside and would love to see how many hetero or 'normal' men and women visiting this land. Straight people and Religion will never understand us

The clue is probably in one definition of the word Church "body or organization of religious believers:" ipso when these believers do not believe together in an organised manner, the body reflects this by sending out a mixed message... this can cause mirth outside the Church as it people contrast the principles of the body with the confused message... there we go..

Indeed this is part of his problem. The Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby, is not "Pope" of the Anglican Church. In fact the Anglican Church does not exist outside of England but is worldwide, an organization of religious believers, not a single organisation. It is even called different things in different countries. (Church of Scotland, Church of Ireland, Episcopalian Church etc.)
Justin Welby is almost in a secular sense their “chairman” rather than their” boss”. So, he is between a rock and a hard place, having to balance the beliefs of an English Church that is reasonably broadminded and filled with people who do not take the whole “God Thing” too seriously and, for example, some African Churches who take it extremely seriously.
