Most people will agree that such behaviour is really unacceptable and paints clients in general in a poor light.

However, if it is seen by clients that it is OK for a professional escort to cancel an apointment at the last minute for whatever reason then how can escorts really expect clients not to think it is OK for them cancel at last minute?

As they say, what's good for the goose is good for the gander!

I am not saying it is right or acceptable to cancel an appointment - but if clients see escorts doing it so as they can gain financially (the main priority for the escort) by taking a longer booking then why would a client think it is wrong for themselves to cancel or not show up because something better turned up (self indulgence being the clients main concern when seeing escorts)?

Surely the professional here should be seen to be leading by example? If not then can they really complain when a client fails to show for an appointment? It would appear from reading this thread that cancelations do happen and it is both sides who are guilty from time to time for cancelling. I somehow doubt posting new threads every time it happens will stop this practice - we will just have to learn to live with it and by doing our homework hopefully try and avoid those who continue to let others down.
It is okay to cancel giving certain notice.
It is not okay to make an appointment and not show up.
It is not okay to ring only to enquire of services/location with no intention of making a booking.

Some time ago, a young lady asked me if she could cancel my appointment as she had been offered a much longer booking.
I knew her asking was really telling me, so I agreed. At least she was polite about it.

About an hour later I got a call that her other booking hadn't showed, but I was just going into visit another lady.
I must admit I did take a little pleasure telling her this

I have a lot of sympathy for the annoyance escorts suffer from no-shows. It is just one of dozens of hazards of a challenging profession. I have had a little bit of run-around from escorts, but have mostly been lucky so far.

Once clients or escorts start using it as an excuse - "I can let them down because they might let me down" - it is a vicious circle that could cause much more wasted time in the long run.

Thankfully, I think good escorts and good clients realise this - otherwise the appointment system would fall apart completely.

Yes I would say it is. Any professional can cancel appointments... Stuff happens... I would say it is okay for either the escort or the client to cancel provided a reasonable amount of notice is given.. say 1 hour minimum. But if an escort has already gotten ready or the client has already travelled to the location then it it too late to cancel.

It is not okay to make an appointment and not show up.
Agreed. Clients should always show up as agreed or call to say something has happened.. flat tyre, called into work etc. Again for fairness, it is equally not okay for escorts to not answer the phone when the client rings to check in at the agreed time.

It is not okay to ring only to inquire of services/location with no intention of making a booking.
I can see where you are going with this. Guys wasting time just asking stupid questions is not on. If a guy has no intention of making a booking he has no business calling an escort. However, if an escort doesn't list her fee then it is reasonable to call her to ask what the rate is and to then decide to visit on not.
Likewise it could be reasonable to ask an escort her location. If she is in a hotel and the client is well known in that hotel he may not want to go there .... Or if her apartment is beside his local pub his friends might see him going in. He might need to check location in these situations.

I suppose if courtesy, consideration and respect are present on both sides then there won't be a problem.
Unfortunately, it seems to me that courtesy, consideration and respect are often lacking in life in general, not just in the escort world.

    TLDR
    But to sum up
Its ok for either side to cancel with proper notice
Its not ok for a guy to book/not show without notice ever
Its not ok for a lady to drag a guy to her front door and then for her phone to go "out of coverage"

And with regard being outbid..........Its morally wrong , but business is business and these ladies aint dumb.........some can be very rude...but not dumb

Nothing is gonna change though so everyone just suck it up and be merry

If there's no major travel involved when seeing a lady then the inconvenience of being cancelled on isn't the worst situation to deal with as many times in the past ladies would push me back half an hour and maybe only give 10-15 mins notice which although was annoying generally it wasn't the end of the world given I was based nearby!

However because I'm moving around a fair bit with work now for example one of the last ladies I visited I had to travel about 2 hours to get to her place and had she pushed the time back or cancelled given I was short on time I'd have been left with a wasted journey.

The lesson here though is that picking wisely is the key to avoiding these kind of situations as the ladies who are most successful and have good track records are unlikely to pull this kind of stunt so for that reason I would only make a 4 hour round trip for a lady whom I know to be reliable based on her previous track record!

I agree, while not ideal for the other person but once there is enough notice given where the other person can arrange something else and has not embarked on their journey to the appointment before cancelation notice was received it is not the end of the world. A txt message sent to someone who is driving a car may not be read until the person reaches their destination which is obviously going to be to late!

I am not sure what time frame you mean when you say “certain notice” but I’d imagine it would be very little if you decide while with a client to extend the booking.

I totally agree. Not only is it rude it shows a total lack of respect.

I totally agree. Why people even bother to do this is beyond me — talk about being bored.
