I think you might want to send your developer this -
when comparing or checking of user id uniqueness, strip all special characters (that's the heart in the name) and then check for similarity
or maybe
the check for uniqueness is different for escorts and clients so that escorts and clients can have the same user id

The fact that I have the heart shows I have an active escort profile. That heart is what makes the difference between the escort profiles here and the client profiles here. This is a problem I have been trying to sort out for a long time. At first I had the problem where my escort profile was turned into a client profile.(thanks to the new interface of the website) afterwards I started paying more attention to my board profile and realised that I didn't receive PMs. Now I receive some and don't receive the others. For I don't know which reason! I had tried to sort out this problem for a couple of months now, but NOBODY BOTHERED. I was put on hold or told that I will be called back by someone from the tech team.

I understand that the tech team is busy with other profiles as well and I'm not the only one advertising on this website, but the lack of professionalism that they have shown(I called several times during the day and I was told that, I will be called back) is becoming really annoying by now.

If I don't reply to PMs that doesn't mean that I want to be disrespectful towards any of the board users that send me messages, it's simply because I don't get them. I am really sorry for those who try to contact me via PM and cannot do that.
