And rightly so I'd say. Next year Leverkusen will be there by merit alone but they're probably gonna win the Europa League anyway.

I think Villa were favourites to win the competition outright.

Perhaps English football isn't as competitive as they like to think ? A club like Atalanta hammering Liverpool at home ? That is unheard of. And yet 2 or 3 weeks ago Liverpool were in a 3 horse race for the English title ?

Olympiakos are 4-2 up now. Looking good for them. Villa had got back level, you would have expected them to go on and win it at that stage. Can they even keep the tie alive for the 2nd leg now?
