I see that roma are 5th in serie A and atalanta are a point behind them in 6th. If it finished that way and then atalanta went on to win the el, would italy have 6 teams in next seasons cl instead of 5?

I don't understand why the Italians are getting 5 spots in the first place. How many of their clubs have figured in the CL in recent years ? Do the Spanish and Germans already get 5 teams in ?
