3-0 to Barcelona at full time. So much for my prediction. It now looks as if Real have no chance of winning La Liga this season so they will have to focus on finishing in the top four in the table plus the Champions League and the Spanish Cup.
The Truth is out there.
Real Madrid is like a poor team... they don't play as a team, and the "stars" have to play just because they are the stars. Benzema? Is a joke he is playing every single match when he is not at that level. Isco on the bench? Another joke. Today they just got what they deserved. 14 points away from Barça, let's see if they even qualify to Champions League next year.

Man City should comfortably win tomorrow night, I would be very surprised if the tie is still alive going into the second leg. The other semi could be close. The Gunners will surely want to respond after going out of the FA Cup and could well beat Chelsea on the night. I will go for a one goal win for them.

Football yay
So both semi finals are still wide open. I would still expect Man City to get through to the final but Bristol City will give them a real test in the second leg. The other match could well go to penalties to decide who reaches Wembley.

According to reports Ryan Giggs is to be named as the next Wales manager. Apart from his brief spell as Man Utd caretaker manager after Moyes was sacked he has no managerial experience. A huge gamble for the Welsh FA to take.

Ireland have been drawn with Wales and Denmark in the new UEFA Nations League competition which takes place in the autumn. A chance for payback against the Danes after the World Cup playoff thrashing.

I`m trying to get my head round the format of this new competition but this might make things a little clearer.

Arsenal reach the League Cup final after coming from behind to beat Chelsea 2-1. The Gunners have never won this competition since Wenger took over as manager. Could this be the year when they put that right?
