All i heard was that england couldnt be drawn against spain as they would both be in pot 2.

OK it just seems strange that Spain who were World and European champions just a few years ago would not be top seeds. Still plenty of FIFAs decisions baffle me, so why should this make sense.

Great to see a comment like this from an English Man. Was on the BBC website and some of the hateful comments would make you sick. Sad to think that neighbours can't get along and support each other.

Maybe it help when my grandmother is Irish on my mother side....

Here are the other groups, pot 2 england, spain, uruguay, switzerland, colombia, peru, mexico and croatia. Pot 3 denmark, sweden, iceland, costa rica, tunisia, senegal, iran and egypt. Pot 4 serbia , nigeria, australia, japan, morocco, panama, south korea and saudi arabia.

So Serbia, who won Ireland`s qualifying group, are in Pot 4 while Croatia, Denmark, Sweden and Switzerland, who all had to come through the playoffs, are in higher ranked teams pots. Also why are Nigeria and Morocco in Pot 4 while the other African countries are in Pot 3? This could also mean, that depending on the draw, there could be a group of four European countries. FIFA logic I suppose.

Actually I read elsewhere that there can only be a maximum of two UEFA teams in any group and only one per group from the other confederations, so I stand corrected there.

yes that is correct, so if england draw germany from pot 1 they cant draw denmark or sweden from pot 3. I think thats how it works.

Yes my mistake sorry mate..
But easy group England could get is Poland.... Peru....... Costa Rica...... Saudi Arabia.....Now I would take that group
