Jamie Vardy is back in the Leicester squad for the semi final tonight and should play a part in the game. I think this match will be another close affair same as the 1st leg was but I will go for the Foxes to win narrowly 1-0.

As expected Christian Eriksen is leaving Spurs. He has signed a 4 and a half year deal to play for Inter worth £16.9m. Spurs have also made Giovani Lo Celso's loan move from Real Betis permanent, completing a £27.2m transfer.

Villa take the lead in the match and are ahead 2-1 on aggregate.

Guilbert puts the ball in the Leicester net again but it`s ruled out for offside.

At half time Villa are ahead on the night and on aggregate. Leicester had several chances to score and really should have had a penalty but as scores stand they are going out of the competition. Ii think Vardy will be on the pitch fairly early in the 2nd half.

Vardy comes on as a sub for Perez. Can he get Leicester back into this tie?

Leicester get an equaliser but it`s Iheanacho who scores it just as he did in the 1st leg. The SF is all square again.

Yes it does. No extra time in the League Cup until the final. It doesn`t look like penalties will be needed. Trezeguet scores for Villa deep in injury time.

Villa win 2-1 on the night and 3-2 on aggregate and will be heading to Wembley for the final on 1st March. It will be a distraction from their PL survival battle but their fans can look forward to a trip to Wembley for the second time in 9 months.

Didn’t get to see game, but I’m delighted for Villa , didn’t think they would get thru over 2 legs , hopefully they can put some form together in league and climb to safety
