It will be an all Manchester semi final. Utd will be at home in the first leg. Leicester will play Villa at home in the first leg of their SF in a Midlands derby.
First legs take place on week beginning 6th January with the second legs on week beginning 27th January.

VVD came through training today and is expected to start the final tomorrow.

Liverpool play Flamengo in the Club World Cup final this evening. VVD is expected to be fit to play which will be a massive boost considering how poor defensively the Reds were without him in their semi final. In 1981 Liverpool played Flamengo in the Intercontinental Cup, the predecessor of this competition, and lost 3-0 to a team which included Brazilian legend Zico. I think today`s result will be much closer and I will go for a 2-1 win for the Reds after extra time. Also today Monterrey take on Al Hilal in the 3rd place playoff. I will go for Monterrey to win this match.

Al hilal become seventh team to qualify for World club Championship beating the Japanese champions.
Liverpool v Flamengo should be final. I remember when Liverpool used to win European cup in 70s and 80s getting beaten by South American champions in a one of game in japan or somewhere out that direction. I’m fairly certain I remember Flamengo destroying Liverpool 3-0.

Elementary of what all other clubs feel , it is the World Club Championship final between the South American champions and European Champions so it is a very important fixture , I assume financial implications for LFC and FSG are enormous
If Liverpool at full strength and play to potential then I think 2-0 win for LFC
