It's fair enough that there's plenty of people out there who have never seen Star Wars; there are loads of things that many other people follow that I don't. For example, I don't follow ANY organized sports of any kind at all, so I'm beyond useless when it comes to discussing GAA, Rugby, the Champions League, etc... That's not to say I'm not athletic, as those who have met me will tell you that I most certainly am.
But when it comes to Star Wars and those who've never seen it, I can't help but feel a little bad for them, as they're truly missing out on a massive cultural phenomenon which is beyond most other things; think about the sheer number of pop culture references that are made about Star Wars in so many other things: now imagine that you understood NONE OF THEM, because you had never seen Star Wars!!
