Minimum Ten Posts — Is It Good Or Bad?
When a newbie registers on E-I they need a minimum of 10 posts before they can avail of some of the features like joining groups and adding friends etc.
Judging by the number of newbies signing up and spamming threads purely to gain 10 posts I was wondering if this rule was actually helpful for the forum or not?
It is bad enough when they spam current threads but some seem to like resurrecting ancient threads for some reason.
Perhaps both a minimum post count along with a minimum number of days registered would be more constructive and cut down on the?
