I thought Jones did exceptionally well with Japan, particularly as, instead of trying to copy other styles, he changed his tactics - and the way the Japanese play - to suit their strengths (pace, mobility) and to minimise their weaknesses (size). England have an awful lot of really, really good players. If a shrewd mind like Jones' can formulate a gameplan to best maximise these players' capabilities (and get the clubs to buy into his programme), I fear that I see no reason for them not to camp in the top 2 for the next four years
