Hyperhidrosis /excessive sweating can be genetic.

Incidentally, I have heard that because of different substances produced in sweat or sebum, some/many East Asians find Europeans to have an unpleasant body odour.
Also males have different body odour to females due to different effects from testosterone to oestrogen.
And I have also heard the theory that some females who usually are not keen on male body odours(washed I hasten to add) find such odours less objectionable, around the tme they're ovulating.
