I think you must be expecting what I'm going to say, so this will be no surpise to you, but wtf? Too long in the business in her 40's!!!! Do you think we are born into the business or something? I didn't start until my mid 30's and most would have retired before then, so can we not generalise about someone having been 'too long in the business' just because they are in their 40's!!!!!
Other than that, you have admitted yourself that you went to her out of a matter of convenience due to the weather, so where I agree that the facilities where far from adequate, I am not sure that her service really warrants a negative, plus think of it like this. If you were having to work in those conditions would it have an impact on your mood and the way you work? Maybe she has not worked there before and was as shocked with the facilities as you were and trying to make the best of a bad job. It could be getting to her.
Anyway, well done for getting a plug in for your favourite lady, I'm sure she will appreciate it I'm guessing she isn't in her 40's?

My point there is that the majority are young and retire young. Just because you are mature, does not mean you have been working 2 decades and ready for the knackers yard, as you can pick up those lively occupation at any age and not need a C.V.
I don't remember what you wrote in your post and I only just read them all, so I'll go check again.
Just read it and I'm not in agreement. He is considering the 'lack lustre' experience is down to her age. I think that is uncalled for. I would say it was more likely be down to the environment if it was that or just the fact that she was not really his cup of tea (which he knew before he got there).

Well said Kate. Sorry, I wasn't being ageist. Probably just made a poor assumption. That said, I don't think she started yesterday eirther. Agree, there could be loads of factors, the apartment being one. The point I was making was that it wasn't my fault the apartment was a bit of a dump. It probably was a convenience appointment so maybe best just to write it off as a bad experience and keep quiet.
You're correct, Luanna is not in her 40's but Im thinking if she's still working in her 40's, I'll keep going !! Although I'll be heading for the bus pass then so might be a bit beyond me
Thanks Kate. Jack

I didn't endorse it. Just because many retire before they hit their 40s doesn't mean anything. I was trying to say (in maybe not the best words possible), that a lady in her early 30's could easily have been working longer than I have and be far more jaded than a lady in her 40s who had only been working for a few years. It's not about the age, but the length of time worked and for some that might become tedious, or changed so much over time, it no longer gives them a buzz.
Me I started after the recession, so never knew the days where you could earn £300 in an hour, which is why I'm happy with what I earn and the way I work. I guess it's also about where you work and how you pace yourself, so lots of factors, but I would say your age is not one of them.
I shall get off my soap box now
