Makes me think either

1 . Victim hugely susceptible to opportunistic abuse , or

2 . Somewhat complicit in the 'action' ; may be somewhat embarrassed in the aftermath .


I skimmed the article , seems they're both 25 yrs old , victim inexperienced ; Perpetrator has history of

'Catfishing' (??) on the Internet : carrying on relationships under false pretences with the explicit intent to

My point is the victim may have been in a Stockholm Syndrome Scenario, how could she not have known she was dealing with another woman and may have suspended her disbelief or be fighting against gay tendencies!

Shocking story, and likely the victim was either completely inexperienced/had some mental health issues or a combination of both. Irregardless though, she is still a victim in my eyes.
