Why, whats wrong with it? I think it looks nice.

It's fine but just makes it a bit messy , people love the handwritten fonts because they think it gives the more personal feel, (and it can) but I think one a little less scripted would work better here, even if you decide to keep it, i would put a background behind it , a simple grey with very low opacity so that you can still see the lovely picture in the background.

I would say that some people with sight difficulties may find that hard to read and you've got to consider everyone when making your site.

i'd try something a little less "curly" and slightly bolder either.

I had lots of difficulty with a client once who wanted to use a similar font everywhere on their site, (it was much worse than yours) they just couldn't understand the layout and design feel.

but at the end of the day, what the client wants, they get (i just took my name off that one lol)

Hmm.. sounds like a professional. Comments are always welcome. I have tried what you said about the bolder fonts when i made the site. But i did it ruin the "fine" look of the site what i like. Tried other fonts as well, and believe me he first choice was even curlier.. This is an easy to read handwriting i think.

Those people who have difficulties with reading websites won't find the website link on my profile so i don't worry about that.. They just call me asking the tour dates.

I have changed the font colour a bit, instead making it bold. It was dark grey, now its black.
Interesting point about the opacity. Not grey, i would say white. How does it look now?

i had closed that browser window so when i loaded it up again I had nothing to compare it too, did you put a white layer behind the text with low opacity ? seems better alright, although i can't remember exactly how it looked before, the change seems subtle.

but honestly, great site ... did you do it all yourself ? are you self taught ?
