I think if it has gone that far then the first thing I'd be asking for is legal representation!

What I can't get my head around is how the Guards will be able to prove beyond reasonable doubt that I actually payed for sex! If it were a drugs deal they would want to see the money and drugs changing hand and then catch you in possession with the drugs. However catching you in bed with a gorgeous lady, while in my case might seem rather unusual — does not automatically mean I have paid the lady to allow me to be there!

The first course of action to take if stopped and questioned would be to be nice and polite and act as thought you should be there.

I've been wary of this for some time. If they put enough effort in, can the notes be followed? If for example you hand over crisp notes that you have just withdrawn, do bank machines read and store serial numbers? Also theres finger prints/dna. Probably a bit paranoid, but personally I've been putting aside well used notes for punting for some time now.

ATM's don't store serial numbers — but anyway, don't rock up to an appointment and withdraw cash! For one reason you just don't know if the ATM will be in operation and you could end up being late due to having to run around looking for another ATM.

As for fingerprints on banknotes....... If they could get prints off bank notes can you imagine the number of prints they could lift off them? In fairness — they would probably have a better chance of doing you on a drugs charge if they examined the bank notes!

I doubt if they would need to prove a direct money connection to you. That could only happen if they recorded the handing over. I think other things would make it "beyond reasonable doubt", like:

- presence of large quantities of condoms in different sizes.
- presence of sex toys / special outfits etc
- presence of unusually large quantities of cash.
- evidence of multiple male visitors who stay for 30-90 minutes.
- evidence of appointments from phones and/or laptop

With a few of those I don't think you have much chance of getting off if you fight it. They will also make it clear that an unsuccessful "not guilty" plea will be worse for you.

If caught I think I would be polite, ask for a lawyer, and admit / deny nothing.
