With respect, while an additional Moderator is welcome at any time, the issue that started the most recent conversation about the need for extra moderation happened at night time a few weeks ago, at the weekend.

For years now even the dogs in the street know that the trolls come out to play as soon as the mods log off for the weekend. Since I joined here in 2012, I have seen awful nasty stuff posted here on Friday nights, Saturday nights and Sunday nights.... none of which was removed until Monday morning.

I sat here some nights reading utter tripe looking at the Quick links pulldown to see if there was a green dot beside any of the Mods names.

I am sorry but this place needs weekend night- time moderation. I am not attacking you personally here Floki. I am just stating the obvious... until there is round the clock moderation, escorts and clients here are at the mercy of these faceless trolls who may do damage to escorts reputations and hence their business.

Just last weekend there was an idiot here..... Humptydumpty2..... suggesting that one of the top escorts here offered bareback sex. For over three hours this nutter had free rein to post anything he wanted about anyone .. and he did!

While most of us established members saw his posts for what they were, utter tripe, a less experienced member might actually believe some of the stuff, or at least avoid that girl whom he alleged offered bareback sex, just in case there might be some truth in it. S this girl may loose business over it.

The escorts are the ones paying EI for a service. Now if I pay a girl for service and she lets me down I can post a negative review. What can a customer of EI who has her business damaged, because EI allowed some idiot to say what he liked about her and leave to up for an entire weekend do about it?

Sorry for the rant but I am sick of it having watched it for three years now.

They have said they are getting night time mods,it's really unfair to post this on a welcome thread,As I said earlier we all know a night mod team is needed but this Is a thread for a new job for a lady here,not the time or place,start a thread on the subject by all means.

I disagree. This is the most opportune thread to vent anger over the frustration thst those that give a damn are feeling. Lu is welcomed and we all wish her the best... But just as there is a valid and obvious need for night-time and weekend moderators we are ask to welcome a new daytime one. I don't think Rocker is having a go at Lu but merely reiterating the frustration we all feel If in Galway city the citizens were complaining of drunken fools harrassing and attacking young ladies at night, and there was a call for more policing at those times, to be asked to welcome new police on the daytime beat is rather infuriating.

Start a thread on the subject,you will get the same reply I have got' that a new team is in training' but start it if you feel,rightly in my opinion about this subject, strong about it.

But have a bit of respect,it's her first day she hardly deserves her thread to be a backlash for the frustration we all fell for the lack of respect shown by the powers that be towards the ladies here at night on the forums ,they have a team coming and obviously we have to wait for that.

You have a point to some extent there Rocker but Why do people get so worked up over a fecking forum, E-I don't give a shite really as long as the money's coming in but whats odds, its seems some members, its the Be all and end All, they live and breathe it and its aint healthy. Just some with too much time on their hands, I believe what happened the other night to be the work of a disgruntled Escort(s) not a client.

The thread is a sticky, entitled “New moderator”. Of course, all would have sighed relief on the potential of this title. In the light of recent events, where escorts were personally insulted and damned, where members and escorts alike have called out for better moderation… to announce a “new Mod” but not as a solution to this very serious situation is frankly highly disappointing. How many more nights of abuse and vicious trolling do we have to witness while staff decide when they are going to police the boards effectively. Livelihoods and reputations could be severely damaged unnecessarily unless this problem is addressed speedily.

I have welcome LuckyLu on this thread. This is not angst against her, but against those that selected that appointment. Now if you want to talk of dumb, those that do not see this, are the ones that are dumb.
