Not really to be fair, as it is not just clients that want to do harm. You also have pimps, thieves and opportunists.

I know of a lady who is based in the UK who had a regular client and agreed to meet up with him in a hotel. They were half way through the booking when he decided as they had met several times she should go without the condom. She of course refused and out of the blue he sprayed something in her eyes and ran. Whatever it was that he sprayed in her eyes has left her partially blind and she is light sensitive. She was left there in agony and all because she refused to not use a condom with a man she thought she knew and trusted.

As it happens she phoned reception who got an ambulance for her, so the police were involved and they caught him on CCTV running out of the hotel and getting into his car and were able to trace him and he went to prison for his crime.

This is not a once in a blue moon thing, I would say something happens at least every couple of Months.

Someone who read this thread told me that they thought I had a point, but it is also risky for the guys. I asked him how many times a day did he see an Escort? Even if you were totally clueless and met up with an Escort with no feedback or known reputation you are only at risk at that one moment when you meet them and you have more choice in the fact that you are not depending on the meeting to pay your bills. You can take it or leave it and many guys that don't feel comfortable to back out and can do that right to the last minute. Once the location has been given we can not do that. If we have met someone before and they know where we work from, then they can abuse that fact if they want to and this alone happens frequently.

I am lucky that I don't need to see more than 2 or 3 clients in a day and if I am not comfortable with the way I am spoken to be that via email, text or call I can happily reject that client. Not everyone is in that position and they don't all have regulars that the majority of the time they can trust and feel comfortable with, but as I have written above, even that is not a guarantee.

Then there are the clients that get infatuated and start stalking, they can be very dangerous and make it difficult to work or advertise. It's not just physical abuse, but mental abuse that we have to handle and believe me, when you have people threatening to tell your family or landlord what you do, it can be soul destroying and frightening.

With reference to clients not wanting to do harm, if it were only clients we had to worry about it would not be so bad, but that isn't the case and I'm afraid where one client can be perfect for one person, they can be a nightmare for another. There is no way to predict how they behave. I've had clients be great for me and then I've been asked to verify them and I've said they were great and they wasted the other persons time, which rightly pissed me off.

It's a strange old business!
