One of the supporters of the madness on boards.ie is claiming that it is an EU Directive to bring in The Insane Swedish anti sex worker model - it is not! There was a vote in the EU parliament on a motion to support The Madness recently put forward by supreme fake socialist and nutter mary Honeyball, which was supported by every Irish MEP in the last parliament (not the one elected recently) except an Ulster Unionist and that includes the bald Paul Murphy! It was passed however,It is not binding!
Also the Minister according to those posts is having a rethink and may further decriminalize sex workers to some extent, i.e. there may be more obvious constitutional difficulties if they don't!

I've had a skim of the thread.
Most of the responses are sensible which is refreshing to read. I'd login to my boards account myself, but I don't have the energy to interact with posters like that "one eyed jack". The thread is already turning south I see thanks to him/her/it.
