A couple of onanists with a grudge posting feeble.insults with racist themes under new accounts with few posts. The same thing as usual but particularly slimy and personal.

This stuff will keep happening and gettiing worse until the site comes up with a plan. Mister Anderson made a suggestion last night that I liked - if the site agreed with some sesnsible night-time.posters to give them temporary mod powers at night, they could cut this stuff off as soon as it starts. Even if some of their decisions were controversial, we'd be better off.

It's not a court of law - even if it did result in occasional decisions influenced by friendships, it's no great harm. If someone abuses their privileges they just get them taken away again.

There are no perfect solutions, but this seems like an easy one that's worth a try.
