Knowing who your friends are

Well, last time I checked I was human and "people" too

But if there is any consolation, I tend to take cats more seriously

Remember when your kitty was stuck up in a tree ? You were so upset , so scared for him ! Rightly so x

I was ready to rush to your side and climb up to rescue him . : had gear , had guts.

That's the kind of friend I am x

I was new , didn't even know the city , but >>

: I'd drop anything to help if I'm able , --but as someone else said -- I would never want to intrude xx



And : I'm absolutely blessed by having a half-a-handful close friends who'd be there through thick and thin .

: I'm slow to ask for help , because I Can handle most everything , but just in the last year I had two surgeries

(both ankles) , then this spring my little dog went missing from a Kildare kennel (Canine Country Club -- Avoid !!) .

I am absolutely grateful for the help I got from my friends while I was laid up with my ankles , and I cannot

even express the gratitude to the friends who helped me with searching for and finding my little dog .

A Friend in Need , is a Friend Indeed x


I'm sorry you were let down by ones you thought cared x that's always tough

But you're strong , and have a smile in your heart ! And even from this you are taking away the positive xxx



Ps. Ah. Right ! And when I was stuck in France with 50€ cash and my cards cancelled !! What a team effort to get me

back to Dub lol !! (Spent cash on vacation , counting on my card to pick up the slack , but card was 'scimmed' (?)

in Asia , bank canceled it ; : I forgot to take charger for my phone , phone ran out of juice , bank couldn't get through

to me , they canceled card to avoid further fraudulent cash withdrawals from BKK .

I was absolutely stranded !! (My other two Ccards expired during my Hols) .

Ohh the aggravation and feeling of insecurity !! But between two - three of them , some of my friends

sorted me out with accommodation , emergency cash , booking ferries and Tunnel etc.

Once again : a Friend in Need , is a Friend Indeed .
