Seriously!!! There's no 'fair play' about it. Now, if they had donated £20,000, then you could say well done.
EI have advertising revenue of at least €80,000 per week, so £1,000 is a drop in the ocean from what they have earned out of the escort industry over the last 15 years.

I think it would be better to say Laura Lee is going to the Supreme Court to try to get the criminalisation of clients blocked.
It is interesting to note that there have less than 200 donations in 27 months, with a little over £8,000 stg raised so far.

I have heard some interviews with Laura on TV and Radio, and she comes across very well, but it appears that she is fighting
this alone, and none(or very few) of her fellow escorts are supporting the campaign(purely based the number of donations so far).

I understand that this law will affect clients, as they will then be at risk of prosecution, but it is likely to affect escorts even more,
in that a lot of the more decent clients (if there is such a thing) may just cease visiting, and the less savoury clients will continue
their 'hobby', unconcerned by laws and lawmakers, putting escorts even more at risk of attack, or 'abusive' appointments.

There are over 800 escorts advertising on EI at the moment, so if every one of them donated £10, there would be £8,000 raised very quickly.
£20 per escort would raise £16,000, etcetera, etcetera. There's no doubt EI could easily match those amounts 'anonymously' or otherwise,
if they wanted to, based on the profits they are making from the adverts on this site alone.

You're forgetting that many of those are duplicated and many are not Independent and don't actually advertise for themselves. I'm glad that you changed that to (few) as I have donated and supported.

I'm not forgetting anything. I'm fully aware that there are a lot of duplicated profiles, and a lot of 'agency managed' profiles too,
that EI have a vested interest in having on their wonderful website. The smoke & mirrors don't work on me.

I am also aware that there are escorts that are supporting the campaign, but it is obviously quite a small number, and when
you consider it is their livelihood that is at stake, you might expect more support from other escorts and EI.

The contributions to Laura's campaign are an embarrassing reflection on both punters and escorts alike . So many believe that it's not their fight and happily come on here castigating those who do contribute and full of suggestions as to who should. But won't put their hand in their own pocket.
And however mean spirited the average punter is well the escort community is worse ,you would think that ladies who take tax fee earnings on a par with hospital consultants out of the country would be more generous and involved.

The fight for all our sexual freedom is left to a few brave souls. It can't be easy being on your own against the deep pockets of the Church, the fascist feminists and those other well funded organisations who believe they have the right to control your sexual desires.
