What is it like to die?

For me, a wonderful lady, so dear to me, was all but gone for years before she actually died, due to the condition she suffered.

Caring for her all those years was perhaps the hardest thing I have ever had to do, as she became someone so unrecognisable and yet, every now and then, if ever so fleetingly, there would be just a momentary glimpse of her, the real her, the one I loved and still do !!

And for that alone, I would gladly do it all over again.


Guess there are many ways to die, nowadays if I am talking to someone left behind, I don’t say I’m sorry, I say I understand.
