    .

Candle in the wind, was the song by elton John.

Gone with the wind was the book by Margaret Mitchell later made in to a movie.

I think you are confusing them Stephane , you lovely example of female sexiness.

To have gone through life, not to have loved and been loved, must be the worst.

None of us tend to think of our own mortality when we are younger. Then we get older and have accumulated enough regret to get in the way of thinking about it properly.

    Catch 22.

Was it Elton John that wrote 'Hold me close Tony Danza'?

Elton John used to own Watford FC. Fact. He was also married to a woman.

I just mean that by the stage we become conscious of our mortality we've reached a stage where we spend more time looking backwards than forwards. Generally. Part of the human condition I think

True. He also wrote a couple of great tunes back in the 70s. Okay, technically that was Bernie Taupin but you know what I mean.

He gave me the biggest laugh all year when that Russian guy rang him pretending to be Valdimir Putin.

Saw him in concert a couple of times, he was terrible. Fat and lethargic.
