I'm over 10 years recovery now, thank God. But I will never forget the little Irish nurse, God bless her. You couldn't pay her enough, the support she gave me, and others. I go back every year, soppy bastard and bring gifts, she made a real positive difference to just not my life but many others

I was a big dope smoker for years never did me any harm apart from the odd cough.
Was a big drinker for years and it nearly ruined me its the most harmful poison going.
Now I am tea total and don't smoke but have an escort habit that I am happy enough with lol
We all need a release of some description and weed is great so it should be legalised for those that want it with careful attention to certain strains that may be too potent and cause strong hallucinations.
A bit of hash, grass or oil is just a natural remedy that should be enjoyed.

Smoking dope can affect your life. I used to smoke it in my 20s/30s. I found myself becoming more and more lethargic and lacking motivation and drive. In effect, becoming a dope head. Gave it up and my career returned.

Now, I still smoke a J once in a while, but strictly that, once in a while. Maturity will keep me on the even keel. But for younger peeps I fear falling into the same dope head trap I did.

Should it be legal? Yeah. But with a warning IMO

I think all adults should be able to purchase some clean cannabis with advice. They can then take or leave that as they please.
Whereas in an illegal situation some may over consume, while others never get a pass at some.

I think it should be legalised -- with age restriction , and with strict controls : dispensary distribution ONLY .

Dispensaries should be held to the very same legal standards as pharmacies (chemists) are re licensing

    and documentation etc.

: Cut out the illegal dealers , cut down on crime (hopefully) , cut down on 'altered' sh*t [[PCP or Formaldehyde

    laced grass !!]]

By now there are so many documented medicinal benefits ! >>> cancer pain relief , Aids wasting syndrome ,

    glaucoma , etc. )

It's not really my cup of tea ... if I was gonna go down that road I prefer hash in Kathmandu ...

    But !
I do what I want. I cannot do otherwise.

I've never seen anyone murdered by a splif whereas guns have killed many .

Yet , legislation -- reasonable legislation !! -- lacks in both areas .

In my Very humble opinion x

Actually I was saying your comment was exactly right for both circumstances.
