    Yes Southampton dominated the first 15 minutes or so but after that Liverpool were by far the better team. They now go on to play Stoke in the semi finals and on current form I would expect them to win the tie especially over two legs. Indeed there is the possibility of an all Merseyside Final which would really be a special occasion.

    Ya they were impressive tonight but got another 2 injuries . They closed stoke down very well
    and gave Shaqari no space or time on the ball and he is what makes stoke tick . Whealen is
    as slow as a wet week !! he does a lot of donkey work but too slow and gets caught in possession
    a lot. Everton v Man city tomorrow night would be nice to see everton get a goal or 2 lead for 2nd leg.

    Very good win but more injuries damn it. If Everton can play well against city tomorrow it could be a Merseyside final.

    Who would have taught mignolet would be the hero not me lol but fair play to the guy hope it gives him some confidence for the future. Wonder who we'll face in the final YNWA

    Ya good game though and I actually thought it was one of pools better performances that I have seen this year, I was more happy for Randolph as he looks to be a really good keeper but needs to get 1st team football.
