If this was a game of Gaelic football where you score 1 point for putting the ball over the bar between the posts and 3 points (a goal) for putting it under the bar between the posts and you had Team A who scored 3 goals (nine points) and Team B who scored 6 points by putting the ball over the bar — what would happen after the match if the teams were told the rules have changed and each score, either over or under the bar counted as one point?

During the match Team A thought they had done enough to win — but after the final whistle was blown Team B were told their 6 points won the match!

This is what has happened here from what I see. Only in this case the original rules are still in place but we are being told the result will be from a different set of rules!

And E-I say that the rules are there to Ensure Fairness

You don't/can't just change rules like that and expect people to turn a blind eye.
