New EOTM Rules — Are they fair, are they good?

This is just pathetic. Sarah is a great escort - she has won before and will win again - but I can't believe she would want to win like this. This must be very unpleasant for both girls involved.

It is clear that this is another effect of developers making mistakes. Rather than fixing the code mistakes to match the rules, they are trying to change the rules to match the code mistakes.

No competition with any integrity changes the rules at the end. I hope they see that this will devalue the competition for past and future winners if they do not change their position. The rules are quite simple, and they could work the correct result out on paper, if the code is not up to it.

Apart from the usual idiots who "don't care", every intelligent post on this subject has said that the prize should be awarded according to the rules at the time, and they should recognise that is the only fair thing and stick to it.
