For your friend and all people fighting this

Some words they can’t be spoken only sung,
So hear a thousand voices shouting love.
There’s a place, there’s a time in this life when you sing what you are feeling,
Find your feet, stand your ground, don’t you see right now the world is listening to what we say?

Sing it louder, sing it clearer, knowing everyone will hear you,
Make some noise, find your voice tonight.
Sing it stronger, sing together, make this moment last forever,
Old and young shouting love tonight.

To sing we’ve had a lifetime to wait (wait, wait, wait)
And see a thousand faces celebrate (together celebrate)
You brought hope, you brought life, conquer fear, no it wasn’t always easy,
Stood your ground, kept your faith, don’t you see right now the world is listening to what we say?

Sing it louder, sing it clearer, knowing everyone will hear you,
Make some noise, find your voice tonight.
Sing it stronger, sing together, make this moment last forever,
Old and young shouting love tonight.

Some words they can’t be spoken only sung,
To hear a thousand voices shouting love and life and hope.

Just sing; just sing; just sing; just sing.

Sing it louder, sing it clearer, knowing everyone will hear you,
Make some noise, find your voice tonight.
Sing it stronger, sing together, make this moment last forever,
Old and young shouting love tonight.

Hear a thousand voices shouting love

More people are getting cancer now than ever before.
And more people are surviving cancer now than ever before.

    That's great news jamieboyo

I know a lot of people who have had cancer and have beaten it! There are still too many people who don't beat it but it is a wonderful victory for everyone who does!

There are some 200 types of cancer and with each one there are variations especially in relation to when they are detected, that can be the difference between an excellent outcome or not. I am delighted to hear your friends news. I have what is know as an orphan cancer so rare and so few cases that no money goes into research on it, I cant complain as the money needs to go into cancers that affect large numbers of people mine there I think only some 12 cases here. So in my case no cure, currently in remission and keeping as fit and healthy as I can so that when , not if it returns I will be in shape to overcome it ( my odds go up each year of a recurrence, with some cancers if you run 5 years clear your totally in the clear). I wish your friend the very best and hope that they will remain free of it. They should however adopt as healthy a lifestyle as possible to reduce it returning and if so to be in shape to take it on.

    Great news Jamie
Another point to make and positive to take from all this is now he/she will be screened for the rest of his/her life and will never
Have to travel this road again

I was watching the late late show last nite
The guy being interviewed had stage 4 colon cancer with weeks to live and absolutey nothing he could do about it but face death.

Can I urge every guy/girl here not to ignore the signs.

Until cancer comes to your house it's an unspoken subject
It shouldn't be left that late, it's far more treatable now and if diagnosed early can be literally a life saver.
Good health is merely the slowest possible rate at which one can die.
