When you consider the crap some ladies put up with from idiots on the phone you can understand why they might not always sounding their best on the phone. I've had experiences of the lady not been in the best humour on the phone but i've given them the benefit of the doubt and still went. It's not fast, as much as no gaps. If you just leave a slight gap between each word then it would be easier to process. Even people with English as a first language find the Cork accent hard to process, despite the fact that the sing songy voice sounds lovely, we're trying to distinguish one word from the other to make sense of it.

I have had a good few similar experiences as yourself,i think the girls just get so sick of all the time wasters that call,which is understandable but when i get to her place it's always so worth it .

Lol I have worked in glasgow and Edinburgh and found Glaswegian easier to understand that those from Cork. To b fair I find the Cork accent okay now, but that is because I spent a lot of time there.
