In fairness Natalie, a lot of them are putting their own lives on the line just so they can enjoy the fruits of the western world.

I know honey & I agree with all that you've written. An example of that is the boy on the beach, a devastating sad situation! Set up photo to tug at the heart strings of the world when the child, his brother & mother all died because his dad wanted new teeth!
The real refugees are getting lost amongst the wants of poor people with dreams of a better life.
Its money, power & greed that is at the root of all problems in our society.
No one in todays society should be hungry or homeless though regardless of situation.

As someone said earlier, how man treats there fellow man is beyond comprehension!

So tell me when anyone in Syria or any eastern country ever thought about you Jorge? I didnt hear of too many Syrians bringing spuds to the Irish when 2 million died from the famine?
