That's funny, though I doubt you mean it to be. Simple is it to close down all of europe. Israel has tried it on a smaller scale, doesn't work, America has tried it, doesn't work. Russia tried it, you get the picture I am sure. Too expensive, takes too much manpower, etc. at the end of the day, the only thing you will be doing is make a prison for us, while the terrorists do what they want.

If the EU borders can be so easily breached as it had been this past summer and even now going into winter , why ??

Hungary was left on its own to defend the Schengen border , and heavily criticised for the necessary measures it took .

Why not have biometrics ?

Just as in U.S. -- you provide the required paperwork , you can get a Frequent Bordercrosser ID .

Then you can be just waved right through .

Useful for truckers or legal migrant workers , frequent travellers .

I travel the world with just my American passport. I guess I am lucky that way. I am able to live and work in ireland with my residence visa.
Terrorist will always find a way in no matter what. I support the refugees as much as I support palastine.
Its a shame people cant just live side by side and respect each others religious choice.
There are no simple answers though i suppose x
