I say fair play to Liz for doing this.

I am sick of reading post after pointless post for weeks now attacking her. It amazes me that a website dedicated to pleasure is such a dark and dreary place (metaphorically) to visit.

I have remained impartial for the most part, but the more nasty postings I read, the more Liz appears to me to be the victim in all of this.

I too was annoyed with her for the things she was saying about Ireland and the Irish, but I never once jumped on the bandwagon and said anything nasty or hurtful to her in return. Would we not be better served by proving to Liz that her perceptions of us are misguided? The Irish are supposed to be fun loving, but there's no fun in any of these nasty postings.

I have fond memories of living and working in London which I love recounting to my friends, so wouldn't it be a good thing if Liz, in years to come, could look back on her visits here with fondness too?

It's still early in 2009, can we not make a fresh start and all of us just live and let live, for God's sake?

And finally:

When the individual forum comes up with all the most recent page of threads, up on the left hand side near the top of the page, there is a little rectangular box, in green I think, with New Thread on it.
