Ringsend is only a stroll away from Ballsbridge. I can see Petros's point of view, guys might be short with time, not from the area and they have to google the location, etc. but everyone has a different reason for doing it, we can do it for privacy reasons, others might do it to test the market. But if a guy wants to see a particular lady, he will travel 5 min further, if not, he will move on to the next number, simple as that.

I was once parked close to the RDS in Ballsbridge! Parking was not easy to find as it was early evening. I was told to ring 10 minutes before the appointment. When I rang I was told she was in Hanover Quay

I said that is not even D4 — It's D2! How the hell am I going to get to there in 10 minutes? She said "it is D4 and it is very close" I know that part of Dublin and I know were D4 ends and D2 starts and Hanover Quay is D2!

I set off in my car for D2 — it took 22 minutes to get to the car park on Chimney View. I parked the car and came out and rang again — 30 minutes had passed at this stage! She answered and asked what kept me? I told her traffic and distance! Anyway, one word borrowed another, she said she could not see me for the hour I had booked as she had another appointment so I said to hell with this for a game of soldiers and told her I was canceling.

Had she said she was in D2 near Grand Canal Dock in the first place I could have been at her apartment on time — Ballsbridge is nowhere near Hanover Quay.

But if someone tells you they are in Ballsbridge surely the logical place to go to see them is Ballsbridge?

I'm all for not giving out the exact location until the last minute — but at least try and make sure the client is in the local vicinity and not half way across town when traffic is at its slowest!
