I'm with O'Driscoll on seeing England v Ireland in the semis. Whilst he (obviously) favours Ireland, I think it would be a 50:50.
Lots of fun to be had before then of course. The prospect of England v Wales this weekend and v Australia next weekend is mouth watering. Hope the scrum steps up better than they did against Fiji though, otherwise it could easily go horribly wrong...
Bahahaha Robshaw and the gang forgot to turn up for second half aren't they????
    Good bye Ireland!

Not at all Stella. Fantastic defence from England, and a very brave decision by England at the end that unfortunately didn't go our way. Peerless kicking from both sides and amazing pick up skills for the Welsh try.

Why anyone would think England's chances against Australia are now reduced on the evidence of tonight is a mystery to me.... Australia have still to play both England and Wales, with a very real prospect that they will be the team to fail to qualify.

Some very strange replacement decisions from Lancaster though...

Fantastic Welsh effort , England thought they had it but too many changed let Wales in. This is gonna be one hell.of a group finish.

Where's your evidence for that? Apart from being 10 points up at one stage...

Evidence ! England stopped trying to score. England kicked possesion away too easily. And whilst Wales were replacing two injured players they took the opportunity to have a team talk and lift morale, to relay plays and expectations. England thought Wakes were finished and took a water break, the call for the corner wasn't the wrong call , the execution was. England thought they were home and were bitten in the ass from a team that did not accept they were beaten.

Our of interest what is your interpretation ?

I accept taking Youngs off was a mistake and England missed his input, and Farrell missed a key kick to touch that handed momentum back to the Welsh. But there was no lack of hunger to kick on and score more during the second half. That was one of the most intense rugby matches I have watched in a long time, as evidenced by the injury count.

Brave decision ? Don't agree, think the brave decision was to take the difficult kick for 3 points but 2 fly halves on the field, captain talked to both of them and neither wanted to take it on, that's not brave.

Why are England's chances reduced , well Australia are a better team than wales and England just had a really tough test match whereas Australia will be able to coast against Uruguay, plus the pressure that will come on now will be massive, think England really up against it now, be a massive disappointment not to get out of the group in a home wc.

Of course it was a brave decision! If they had kicked and scored the 3 points you and everyone else on here would be lambasting England for throwing away the victory and a lack of ambition, and I would agree! And if they had kicked and missed it would have been worse. As was said above, right decision, but poorly executed.
Australia are the weakest Southern team, I certainly would not bet on them beating both England and Wales. And with Wales ever worsening injury woes, an English victory over Australia is not as improbable as you think....
