Great weekend of rugby BTW, roll on the midweek matches
We were in car for the first 20ish mins but when I switched on the TV, my other half was like WOOOWWW McCaw in bin, what the hell

Wayne Barnes was in his better form alright.

What do you guys think after first round??

Was Canada a very easy opponent? I think they were brilliant, and as I said before Henderson the man

We got all that could be asked for them. Decent score, the bench got a run out including Healy and most importantly no injuries.

Also if you look at our fixtures they are perfectly spaced with a week or more between games with them getting increasingly more difficult each game. Romania play France this coming Wednesday, and then again Ireland on Sunday. 4 days is a very sort recovery period for Rugby at this level. This next game will give Schmidt a chance to give a few of the fridge players a try out a few other things.

In fairness Canada would be good opposition for our 2nd 15, they are not good enough to make the top 8 anytime soon.
Wayne Barnes had a good game and should have sent off McCaw in fairness. But that would be signing his death warrant
Next is to see how Oz play, could be dark horses here

Interesting opening weekend. Really fanastic result for Japan. No new injuries from Canada game which is good. Henshaw on road to recovery it seems.

Agree with Willie will be interesting to see what Australia bring. Could well be the dark horses.

What are people thinking about TV3's coverage so far?

They are really milking it for all its worth in terms of revenue for them. Cooper can be annoying at times. Wood is good has the experience from the BBC.

You can bet Japan + 16 at 10/11.
