ive only read the first book. it was tough going even though im a big reader. it wasnt that i didnt enjoy it, i really did, i just found it hard to immerse myself into it like i do with the show.

going to get up to date with the books before the new season comes out. personal challenge. how many more have i to go? 5? i heard there was a revised way of reading the last two books. going between each book to give it more of a flow. i think ill do that because i dont know why but the idea of reading two books together is kinda cool.

You've four to go. I recommend the abridged audio because the bastard drones on for pages about costumes, cutlery and meals, as I'm sure you now know. Also if there is a way of reading book four and five simultaneously then do it! Book four is tedious because he takes most of the interesting characters out and sticks them in book five.
